Performing with new percussion group Paella, Marichall Museum Picture Gallerey, 11/09 Friday. Premiere of new works by Brent Fariss, Travis Weller, and special guest, David Revill who will be present at the concert (composer and biographer of John Cage). Paella will also be performing Cage’s ‘Child of Tree, and Branches’. 7:45pm, free, donations accepted. (part of SOUND)
David Revill will be giving a talk at noon that same day, in room 055, at the University of Aberdeen, McRoberts Building.

New radio program for experimental music on SHMUFM, The Fog. Oct 21st
Dedicated to exploring the hazy realms of experimental music, this 2 hour weekly program focuses on sound art and experimental music from the past, present, and near future. Interviews, live studio sessions, underground detritus, found recordings, live electronics, field recordings, and even an occasional blues track will find themselves blurred together by prof_lofi into a mixed bag of the bizarre.

03/28 w/ Patrick Keenan, Aberdeen, at The Lemon Tree, 7:30pm, 5 pounds (special guests Jack Keenan doing live video, Mickel Mass, with new video by Steve Morisson, and Adam H. Taylor as Hypnoerotomachia).
***This event kicks off a new quarterly experimental music series at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen. This evening will feature myself and Patrick as a duet, performing with Jack Keenan on live improvised video (using hacked tv’s, webcams, laptop, custom made circuits and more). Also performing will be Mickel Mass (who recently performed with Faust in Germany) playing with a video composed by local video artist Stephen Morrison who produced this piece especially for this event. And starting off the whole night is Adam H. Taylor, who’s work is starting to gain more attention in local circles under the moniker Hypnoerotomachia.
For future events we’re looking to bring in a range of other artists (Keith Rowe and others) for this series. Doors at 7:30, £5.
