Co-leading fast+Dirty 2014 with Ian Spink at plan B’s unique base ‘The Shed’ which is located 25 minutes drive north of Inverness. October 17-26.
fast+Dirty 2014 is a multidisciplinary workshop and residency developed by Ian Spink in 1983. Since then Ian has delivered over 20 workshops with professional and emerging artists from across the world. Although each workshop is unique, the basic premise remains the same: to create an environment to inspire and challenges artists to create new work. Strike/Slip, Inverness, Feb 3rd – 15th
Strike/SlipAirfield project inspired by the geology and local history of The Great Glen Fault which runs through Inverness. Choreographer Ian Spink, sound artist Bill Thompson and film maker Alan Paterson, working in collaboration with a group of Highland dancers (Julia McGhee, Lucy Boyes, Louise Marshall, Frank McConnell, Gabriela Sanche, and Misa (Maria-Louisa) Brzezicki) will create a series of landscapes using movement, sound and visual elements.
