KHABAT ABAS – Cello and Electronics
Khabat Abas is a cellist, composer, and interdisciplinary artist from Kurdistan-Iraq. Her work explores time, space, and memory through music, everyday sounds, and noises. She delves deeply into how we experience sound, particularly in various geopolitical contexts.
THORJN AND GENIE TEMPEST
THORJN – Electronics
GENIE TEMPEST – Electronics
Genie Tempest is a vocalist, producer, and performer whose work merges abstract vocal techniques with digital signal processing. Blending Post-New Age aesthetics with noise, ambient, and electroacoustic sound, her music explores the space between emotional quietude and ambiguity. Her forthcoming debut album, Pulmonics, centres the voice as a multifaceted sound object in conjunction with laptop processing.
